The clinical application of artificial liver support system

Abstract

Abstract: The main treatment strategies for liver failure include drug therapy， artificial liver support system and liver transplantation etc. At present， non biological artificial liver， including plasma exchange， plasma diafiltration， hemoperfusiuon， molecular adsorbent recirculating system(MARS) and Prometheus are commonly used in clinical treatment， and the therapeutic effect is discussed. In addition， the progress of bioartificial liver in recent years， and the construction of a new artificial liver are summarized. The problems and new trends of artificial liver are also summarized.
